The Paviljoens, 1997

"Polder", sited in a museum made up of 4 pavilions relocated from Kassel Germany, was an exhibition designed to notate the relationship of these pavilions to each other and that relationship to the land/water construction of the polder itself on which they were sited. The structure was built as a three-dimensional blueprint which directed the passage through the maze-like space to the other exhibition areas. The construction functioned as a large desk which welcomed, and provided information to the visitor entering the museum.
